Tasks and responsibilities
As a Tech Lead at Coherent, you will be a key player in the development of advanced optoelectronic components for data and telecom. You will be responsible for leading the technical team through the entire product development cycle, from design and development to the final product. You will ensure that all technical solutions meet the highest standards and align with customer requirements and the company's strategic goals. The role involves driving technical innovations and closely collaborating with other departments to achieve shared business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop the team's technical strategies
• Own the technical product specification and represent the customer in the project
• Be responsible for technical decisions throughout the development process
• Ensure the highest quality and functionality of the products
• Collaborate with product development and other departments
• Drive technical innovation and improvements within the company
Education, experience and personal characteristics
• Relevant education in optoelectronics or related technical fields, with a required master’s or Ph.D. degree
• 10 years of professional experience in optoelectronics and 5+ years of experience in project management
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
